Todays review and shout out is Britt's Chips. They have been around since 2010, since then they have only changed locations once I believe. First opened on Lombard St but now is located in the Canadian Tire parking lot. Very rare to go by without any body there - when there is a long line up, they are very fast to get the food ready which is always great when you're in a little bit of a rush. Serve the standard chip wagon menu but look out on their social media or window for specials every now and then. One popular special is the Thanksgiving poutine. At one point only served towards the end of the season and not for long as it would be sold out quick but now that it's been so popular it is now a staple. Be sure to check that out if you're there.
Review: All in all I ordered Grilled chicken wrap which comes with lettuce, tomato and cheese with your choice of mayo, caesar dressing or ranch. Hot Dog platter which normally comes with fries but I substituted the fries for sweet potato fries & an order of deep fried pickles! All together I would rate this 9/10
Hot Dog Platter: Got it with mustard, onion and relish. What I really love is they put relish under the hot dog so when you take a bite not all the toppings and condiments come off or become really messy, but downside if you wait a few minutes the relish makes the bottom soggy and tears easy. Subbed fries with sweet potato fries which comes with a chipotle dip. Dip is really good, not too spicy and has a bit of a lemony taste (nothing too extreme very subtle)
Deep Fried Pickles: 5 in an order, not handmade I believe it's frozen but made to order. Still very delicious has a breaded batter, not too thick. Comes with dill or ranch dip but I got it without.
Grilled Chicken Wrap: Ordered for someone else but again comes with lettuce, tomato, cheese with a choice of dressing. Got this with no tomato and caesar. Fresh grilled chicken breast.
